Case Study: Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) students can apply for Victoria nomination for visa 190

Victoria nomination for visa 190

Ann completed her VCE in Australia and then was successful in enrolling into Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), after 4 years of study, Ann completed her Bachelor degree and was granted a Temporary Graduate Work Visa (485) until 3 July 2022

Ann consulted Smart Choice Education and Migration registered migration agent, to see what next steps to be completed so she can apply for permanent residence.

She was advised that a skill assessment, high score in PTE test and work experience would necessary to apply for 189 PR visa.

Ann gained a positive skill assessment from Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) and gain scores deemed be superior English rating. After calculating her score, she had a total of 75 points, enough points to meet the criteria for 189 visas, BUT not enough to gain an invitation to apply for the 189 visa.

It was decided to lodge a Registration of Interest (ROI) with Victorian State Government under “Workforce Skills Pathway – Early Childhood Educators” hoping get an invitation to lodge a nomination application which would give an additional 5 points to toward applying for PR.

Completing an application for ROI, it is necessary to provide information
