John had completed a Certificate III in Aged Care and then completed a Diploma of Nursing (enrolled nurse). He enjoyed studying living in Adelaide and was determined to obtain permanent residency in Australia. John was granted the s/c 489 visa and will eligible for s/c 887 Permanent resident visa after 2 years since the s/c 489 visa was granted. For s/c 887 visa he will only need to show at 2 years residency in SA and 12 months of work experience
